Cuddalore to Chennai Environmental Tour

From November 28 to December 2, 2006 a group of local Cuddalore residents and supporters will travel to Chennai on bicycle. They will visit several Tamil Nadu and Pondicherry communities along the way, telling the story of how their city has been polluted beyond livable standards. They hope to gather support for their cause.

The tour ends in Chennai where they will share the messages about Cuddalore with local community leaders. They hope to avoid another disaster like Bhopal. The message will also raised with the state government officials.
